Rob oversees operations, network and client relationships, procurement, business development and strategy.
Commencing employment in the international freight forwarding industry in 1995, Rob’s background includes operations management, commercial management and international business development roles. Rob has completed business management studies at the Australian Institute of Management and studies in international trade law, cargo marketing (IATA) and other industry specific programs.
Rob enjoys working closely with clients, initially gaining a detailed understanding of their business and then partnering with them to refine their import supply chain, with a focus on implementing efficiencies with clients overall business imperatives in mind.
As our clients will attest, Rod places a high value on long term relationships with clients.
Focused closely on both new business generation and client retention, Rod works tirelessly for clients to ensure that Pioneer exceeds expectations. Rod can justly take credit for his role in assisting Pioneer to maintain its extremely high client retention rate, something rare in the industry.
Rod entered the international shipping industry in 1996 and has obtained a vast experience in both Australia and the United Kingdom across the international shipping, domestic air express and international freight forwarding industries.
Rod works tirelessly for our clients to ensure that Pioneer lives up to its core tenets of high performance and forward thinking.
Coming to Pioneer with a background in customs management and tariff consultancy, David is intimately involved with the day to day operational activities of the business. David’s hands on approach ensures the highest operational standards.
David joined the customs brokerage industry in 1995, is a licensed customs broker and has a strong operational, technical and advisory background. This extends to a lead customs and tariff advisor role for a major ASX listed company managing a company wide compliance audit and tariff advisory program.
David draws on his vast customs and trade advisory background to ensure clients are customs and DAFF compliant and adds further value by regularly exploring all opportunities for clients in areas including customs classification and valuation, tariff concession orders and free trade agreements.
